11 OCTOBER 2018 BODY OF CHRIST NEWS Calling Fire Down from the Heavens Not everyone can call fire down. You watch the life of Elijah. Something that Elijah was known for was on Mt. Carmel he was able to call fire down. We notice also Elisha was able to call fire down. In this season of new anointing I believe God is calling you and I to be people that can call fire down. When you are the type of a person that can call fire down, nothing moves you, nothing phases you. You feel like a majority just you alone. Because you know you can call fire down. If you are going to be a man or a woman that will be capable of calling fire down that is walking in the fullness of the anointing that God wants you to walk. There are certain things that need to be in place. A man had been dating a lady. This lady was from a very, very sanctified holiness church that nobody could hug until they got married. And the brother was looking for a way that this woman would hug him. Anytime he wanted to hug her she would put her hand out seven feet away from him and shake his hand. So, the brother was thinking of something and said, “Let’s go to Magic Kingdom.” And the woman was very happy they were going to Magic Kingdom. He took her all around then they went on this ride that was so scary. They would be going at the speed of sixty miles per hour in the dark, then all of a sudden, they would drop and turn and bend. The sister sat next to the brother and the ride began. When the ride went fast in the dark she moved close to the brother. When the ride dropped she grabbed the brother! When the picture came out the picture showed her grab- bing the brother. Sometimes God might have to take you on a wild ride, so you can learn how to cling to him. He knows you will not die, he knows you will not fall apart. All he is saying is, I need a hug; I need you to cling more to me. And sometimes he might have to shake the nest. The sister grabbed the brother tight. The tightness that she would not have given if not for the wild ride. Are you on a wild ride? I come to announce to you today all God is asking you is give me a big hug. Give me a tighter hug because I want to feel your heart- beat. I want you to feel my heartbeat. I want us not to walk as two but two that have become one. For you to be able to call fire down sometimes God will take you on a wild ride. I Kings 17:1-7 17 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.” 2 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 3 “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” 5 So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. 7 And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. Up to this time nothing had been said of Elijah, nobody knew how he grew up. Nobody knew he was in Tishbite. But a situation is happening in the nation that calls for the manifestation of a son of God. Every time a situation happens in a nation God wants to raise a Prophet. So, up to this time nobody knew anything about Elijah. This is the first time the Bible will mention Elijah and here was he. Elijah, Elijah the Tishbite. Of the inhabitants of Gilead said to Ahab, as the Ade Ajala By Bishop Israel Ade Ajala SERMON Don’t fill your life with too much doing that you have no time to be alone in the presence of God. You cannot be doing the same thing the same way and expect different results. You must be able to find a time of solitude, a time of aloneness with God. Continued on Page 21
