Of the 332 proph- esies spoken in the OT concerning the first coming of Jesus Christ, not one failed to occur exactly as predicted. Jesus fulfilled ALL with 100% accuracy. If that's the case, why is it that only a few recognized God's coming to them (Luke 19:44 NIV)? Why did the religious people reject their long awaited Savior and then have Him crusifued? The answer is simple, "Their HEARTS were into worldly wealth instead of heavenly riches."" Keep in mind, Jesus could have packed His bags, moved to another country, opened up a hospital, and made a billion dollars! After all, He was already raising the dead, the blind eyes were opening, the crippled were walking and the deaf were hearing! "N/C!" Unlike today, there are those who "claim" to be God's anointed that are preaching a popular gos- pel message for their own financial gain, all in the Name of Jesus! (1Tim 6:3-15, 2 Pet 2:1-3). Now, are you READY to meet your Lord in the air?! How do you know if you are a wise and faith- ful virgin? Matthew 25:1-13 teaches that the wise Virgins who are keeping their lamps BURNING, stay- ing READY and being WATCHFUL, will be taken when our Lord comes, and they will be absolute- ly BLESSED beyond MEASURE! Remember, this blessing is not for sale! Keep your eyes on the words, READY, WAITING, WATCHING, and KEEPING your LAMPS BURNING. Rest assure, the blessing will be right there. Firstly, the wise virgins who are keeping their lamps burning will be escorted through the open door and into the wedding banquet! What a huge blessing! Again, those who are letting their lamps burn out will be LEFT BEHIND! Why? They are saved in their head but not in their heart! What about the oil? The fool- ish then said to the wise," give us some of your oil, our lamps are going out." The wise replied by saying, "There may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves." Its obvious that the wise virgins know that the foolish are depending on worldy wealth to obtain a fresh refill of the oil. The wise know that the Lord is the only One who keeps their lamps burning because they love the Lord, and, they are remaining ready and faithfull (Matt 25:1-13, Ps 18:29). The Lord doesn't want your money!, He wants your heart. "If you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved!" "For it is with your HEART that you believe and are justified"(Rom 10:10). Much of today's modern day church, both small and large, has their hearts set on worldy blessings. Give 10% and get a hundred fold back. Many do not "realize" that they are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. You cannot buy God's eternal bless- ings with money (Rev 3:14-18).This is why the Lord wants us to examine our hearts (Rev 3:14-18, John 14:15, 14:21, 2Cor 13:5, 1John 1:5-10, 2:1-6). "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"(Luke 12:34). Are you excited about the Soon Coming of our Lord! Hope so! (John 14:1- 7). "Be dressed READY for service and keep your lamps burning, like men WAITING for their Master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when He comes and knocks, they can IMMEDIATELY open the door for Him. It will be good for those servants whose Master finds them WATCHING when He comes.I tell you the truth, (MAJOR BLESSING), He will dress Himself to serve, He will have them recline at the table and He will come and wait on them"(Luke 12:35-37). Wow! What a blessing! "It will be good for those servants who's Master finds them READY, even if He comes in the sec- ond or third watch of the night (NIV). All martyred tribulation saints will be caught up to the wedding banquit throughout the great tribulation. A 7 year feast! (Pre trib rapture-Rev 4:1-11. Next- persecuted trib saints in heaven before the Lord-Rev 7:9-14. Next, 144000 trib saints standing before the Lord- Rev 14:1-5. Rev 11:11-14). Guaranteed, those who get saved through the great tribu- lation will NOT be into health, wealth and prosparity, and, they will for sure be EAGERLY WAITING for their Lord to come! Keep your eyes focused on the word HEART! "For where your treasure is, there your HEART will be also"(Luke12:34). Lets take a look at Luke 21:34- 36. "Be carefull, or your HEARTS will be weighed down with dissipa- tion, drunkenness and the anxiet- ies of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap." Question; Should that DAY be closing on the church unexpect- edly? Absolutely not! Not if your ready waiting and watching for the Lord! (Heb 10:25, 1Thess 5:4, Luke 21:25-28)."For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth (world wide tribulation). Be always on the WATCH,(Here comes the blessing) and pray that you will be found worthy to ESCAPE ALL that is about to happen, and that you will be able to stand before the Son of God." Big Blessing! (1Thess1:9-10 KJV-NIV). Again, a blessing that money can't buy! (1Thess 1:9-10, 2 Pet 2:9, 2 Pet 3:7). The Lord teaches that if a "believers" heart is set on earthly thing, in reality, they may not truly be saved (Phil 3:12-21, James 4:4-7). If their hearts are focused on eternal things, they must be saved because the Holy Spirit does not encoursge anyone to stay conformed to the ways of this world (Phil 3:13-21). Keep your eyes on the HEART. "Since then you have been raised with Christ, set your HEARTS on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, NOT on EARTHLY THINGS. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory"(Colo 3:1-4). Can the HEART BE DECEIVED?! You bet! The Lord has many eternal blessings for those who truly want to be with Him.
