Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their ITCHING ears want to hear. They will TURN THEIR EARS AWAY FROM THE TRUTH and turn aside to myths(2Tim 4:18). Jesus teaches faithful believers to be on their guard against those who preach the gospel for financial gain. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will know them(Matt 7:1516). Today, it is not hard to see the fruit of those who teach the gospel for money. These greedy money preachers will be, professing believers whose loyalty is more to personalities than to the Word of God. Their doctrine will be self-centered rather than God -centered. They will accept human teachings and traditions even when those teachings contradict the Advertise with Us Word of God. They will seek and respond to religious experiences and supernatural manifestations as their final authority in validating truth, rather than grounding BOCNEWS.COM themselves in the council of Gods Word. They will not put up with sound doctrine but will seek teachers who offer salvation down the broad road of unrighteousness.All believers must beware of those misleading ministers and leaders and not be deceived by their charisma, eloquent oration, education, miracles, numerical success or popular message (Study notes:Life in the Spirit Study Bible, Donald Stamps).In closing, those who teach that godliness is a means to financial gain will not be looking for Jesus to come. They will have their hearts and minds on earthly things (Col 3:1-4). Throughout the Bible, God gives many examples to show that there are two kinds of Christians. There will be the greedy whose minds are on earthly things, MAY 12TH ISand there will be those who are coming out from among the world and they will be MOTHERS DAY looking, ready and waiting for their Lord to come.
