Finally, I know of a dear friend, wealthy, suc- cessful, an upstanding citizen in his commu- nity. He started listening to a wealthy, well known inspirational TV preacher a few years back. After a few years, he still doesn't know the Lord. As of today, he wouldn't even think of listening to a poor, unschooled idiot like me when it comes to Biblical salvation. He is putting more trust and faith into the words and wisdom of his TV preacher instead of the Words of Jesus Christ. His Bible sits on the shelf collecting dust.Today, a preacher needs to show an outward appearance of success, wealth, education and charisma, while blending into his teaching some ancient words of wisdom in order to be accepted by this lost and fallen world.
