Faith in the Name of Jesues, part IV … [continued]

Thursday, June 8th, 2017

That’s why when one brother came to me and he told me that he was born homosexual, I said, Fantastic. That is not a big problem. I was born a sinner too. I just got born again. If the doctor told you that you were born homo, just get born again. That’s all. That will stop it. Are you hearing what I’m saying? Because every one of us was born in sin. Are you hearing me?

3. Spiritual Life
So, there is a physical death and a physical birth. There is spiritual death and spiritual life. Now watch this: when you and I were physically born, God expected us to be born again in the Spirit. That why when Brother Nic came to Jesus he said, What shall I do? And Jesus said to him, You must be born again.
And then Nicodemus looked at Jesus and said, As big as I am? Do you want me to go into my mother’s womb? I can’t even fit! And Jesus said, No, no, no, no. I’m not talking about that. That which is born of the flesh is the flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit, He didn’t say is spiritual™. He said, Is spirit. Then why did it surprise you that I said, You must be born again.

In other words, your spirit must be born again. How does our spirit get born again? When it receives the life of God. John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not “perish” or should not “perish” but will have eternal life. The life of God. Eternal life is the opposite of eternal death, and you can only get eternal life when your spirit life is born.
So, Jesus Christ said, You must be born again.

Now watch this: how did Jesus obtain His name by inheritance? Scripture tells us He died spiritually. He underwent spiritual death. Now when was that? When He was separated from God. God said to Adam, Don’t touch that tree. If you eat from that tree, you will die.

Are you with me? Genesis 2:17. Don’t eat that. Don’t eat that. If you eat that, you will die.” What did Brother Adam do? Both he and his wife went full speed ahead and ate it, and they still kept living, and yet they were dead. They kept living and yet they were dead, because physically they were still alive, but spiritually they were separated from God, and they could no longer see God. So, in Genesis chapter 3 when they ate the fruit and God showed up, they ran away. They said, “We heard Your voice, and we ran away, because we were afraid.”

Spiritual death means separation from God. Do you hear me? When someone has died spiritually it means they have been separated from God. That’s why when Paul was writing in Ephesians 2:1 he said, “You were dead, and now He made you alive.” He said, “You were dead in your trespasses and sins, and how you have been made alive.” In other words, you now carry Zoe, the life of God in you.
