Donna Lynne has been on the job for Coloradoans addressing low income and affordable housing as well as the key issue of healthcare. At a time when the Trump Administration and Republicans are doing all they can to dismantle the Affordable Care Act (ACA,) Donna Lynne worked to protect the gains we’ve made and focused on improving the law to make high-quality, affordable health care available to all of us. In her quest to serve every constituent, Donna Lynne believes people of color, in particular the African American community, must have the same benefits that are enjoyed by others in the great state of Colorado. Her love for people continues to drive the Lieutenant Governor and I believe that Donna Lynne is equipped to address the many issues that touch our lives. I am blessed to have the opportunity to work for the Lynne campaign for Governor. With her back- ground as a single mother of three, she knows the challenges of raising children. As an individual who worked her way through college she understands the issues of stagnant wages as well as the grow- ing cost of basic services like housing, childcare and education. Her desire to work with the African American community is her testament to who she is. The American Dream is obtainable but continued discriminatory practices against all people of color mean we must strive even harder to embrace equality and the right for all people to enjoy the love and care of this great nation. In her role as Lieutenant Governor and Chief Operating Officer for Colorado she works everyday with and on behalf of work- ing families. She believes that all people of color achieving economic equality is a must if African American men and women are to enjoy the many blessing of Colorado. I joined the Lynne campaign because, she has the inner strength of a women on a mis- sion. As the co-chair of the Early Childhood Commission, which is tasked with improv- ing the outcomes for families with young children, Donna Lynne believes that chil- dren are our future. She also is pleased to champion work to implement Colorado’s Strategic Action Plan on Aging because she believes that seniors are a critical part of the Colorado legacy. African American clergy leaders have issued the call for greater opportunities for entrepreneurial development in our community. As an Associate Minister at the Zion Baptist Church, I recently spoke to the need for better jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities for African Americans. I also believe that it will take the energy of a rainbow coalition to elect Donna Lynne to the governor’s office. People of color have labored with all other Coloradoans over the years to make Colorado a great state for all of God’s people. Our men and women have been a part of the positive fabric that continues to grow Colorado. As a long time supporter of the Reverend Jesse Jackson, I believe as he does, that if you can con- ceive it and believe it you can achieve it. Donna Lynne believes in the daily challenge of her African American constituents and will work to make employment, educational, health care and housing opportunities available to every Coloradan. I’m pleased to join Donna Lynne’s campaign and I’m anxious to help her make more community connections as she works to win the primary elec- tion. Her vision for Colorado will continue to build unity in a state and with a people she loves. VOTE FOR A WINNER – VOTE FOR DONNA LYNNE FOR GOVERNOR! Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne Rev. Steven C Dewberry By Rev.
