9APRIL2014BODYOFCHRISTNEWSRELIGIONAuthorDr.RudolphR.WindsorsaysWeshouldntbesurprisedabouttheexistenceofBlackHebrewsbecauseaccordingtotheBibletheHebrewswereinEgyptduringthetimeofMosesandthatisinAfrica.SoatleastinNorthAfricawehavedocu-mentedevidencefrombiblicalsourcesthattheHebrewswereinEgyptLibyaandEthiopiaifnotinotherpartsofAfrica.ManypeopleknowabouttheFalashanJewswhicharetheBlackJewsofEthiopia.TheycanbetracedbacktothetimeofKingSolomonandtheQueenofSheba.WehaverecordsofBlacksandJewsinEgyptandEthiopiaasearlyasthe9thand10thCenturiesB.C.TheexistenceofBlackHebrewsinAfricawasoneoftheastoundingandsurprisingdiscoveriesthatImadeatthattimeandiswhatprimarilymademewanttoresearchmoreabouttheHebrewsinAfricaandmademewanttowritethebookFromBabylontoTimbuktuAHistoryofAncientBlackRacesincludingtheBlackHebrews.Dr.Windsorwrotethebookin1967-1969afterlearningfromhisresearchofAfricanHistoryandBlackHebrewsthatalotofinformationfromschol-arssuchasAllenH.GodbeyofDukeUniversityinNorthCarolinawhowroteLostTribesofMes-EastincludedasectiononAfricanJewsandHebrews.ThehistoryofBlackpeopleatthattimewrittenintheearly1960sgavelittleornoattentiontotheBlackpeopleintheBibleorBlackHebrewsintheancientworld.ThereweremenlikeDr.W.E.BDuBoiswhowroteabookonAfricaandA.J.Rogersalsowrotefiveormorebooksatthetime.Dr.WindsorsawtherewasaneedtogettheinformationoutbecausetherewasagreatdeficitinthehistorybooksaboutBlackcivilizationandaboutBlackpeople.TheWhiteJewsoftodayareasaresultofconversionandmigrationintodifferentpartsofEuropeexplainsDr.WindsorJustasintheUnitedStatestodaythelongerwestayinAmericathelighterandlighterBlackpeoplebecome.OnemightwonderhowdidtheBlacksinTimbuktubecomeMuslimDr.WindsoranswersArabscameintoAfricaafterthe7thCenturyA.D.andtheybegantoconquerandconvertthepeopleofNorthernAfricatoIslam.LatertheMoorsandotherLibyanpeo-pleofNorthAfricabegantopenetratetheSaharaDeserttothesouthandgointosuchcountriesasNiger.ChadMaliNigeriaandafewotherplaces.PriortoconvertingtoIslammanywereHebrewsorofthevariousothertribalreligiouscultures.HesaysThereasonBiblicalchar-actersdepictedinHollywoodmoviesinthepastandalsotheonescomingoutnowsuchasTheSonofGodNoahsArkaswellasotherdepic-tionsofBiblicalstoriesisbecauseweliveintheWesternworldandwearegivenhistoryfromaWhiteperspectiveinaWhite-dominatedworldandtheirobjectiveistoperpetuatethefalsehoodthatwasdevelopedduringtheearlyperiodofslaveryandthatalsodevel-opedinEuropeovertheyearsaftertheconquestofthecontinentofAfricaandtherestoftheworld.Dr.WindsorcontinuesBecausetheEuropeansweredominantintheirconquesttheybegantotakemanyofthegreatheroesoftheancientpastandofAfricaandtheybegantomakethemWhiteandtopainttheirpic-turesWhiteasapsychologicaltooltoenhancetheirowncultureandtoper-petuatetheircivilizationbyshowingthepeopleasbeingWhite.AtthesametimestatesDr.WindsorinAmericaforexampletheywereabletosubjugateandsup-presstheBlackpeople.TheirobjectivewastomakeBlackpeoplefeelinferiorandbelievetheydidnothaveaplaceinhistory.WhentheymadeeveryoneofimportanceWhiteitmadeusfeelthatWhiteSupremacywasalegiti-matedoctrineandthattheymustbecorrectbecauseeveryonewasWhitepicturesofJesusandallhisdisciplesandalltheprophetsoftheBiblearedepictedasbeingWhitesotheymustbesuperior.ButthatwasallthepsychologicalindoctrinationthatwasfomentedtodeceivetheBlackpeopleandkeeptheminmentalslavery.HecontinuesUntilaftertheCivilWarendedin1865Blackpeopleinthiscountrystillremainedinmentalslaverybecauseeventhoughtheywerefreedfromchattelslaverytheywerenotfreedfromthepsychologicalslav-eryofthefalseindoctrinationabouttheBlackmanscultureandhistory.ThewaywecanchangethataroundisbyteachingmoreaboutBlackhistoryinourschools.Firstweneedtobegininourhomesandourneighborhoodsinourcommu-nity.Wehavetosetupprogramsinourneighborhoodsandinthehome.Blackpeopleneedtoreadabouttheirownhistory.Blackkidstodaygooutandgetintotroublebecausetheydonthaveanyprideinwhotheyare.Ifyoudonthaveagoodself-esteemyouwilldoanything.Sowehavetobetaughttoappreciateourselvesandloveour-selves.Ifyoudontloveyourselfandwhoyouarehowcanweexpectany-oneelsetoloveusandtreatusrightDr.WindsornotesThatiswhywehavecaseslikeTrevonMartinandJordaninJacksonvilleFloridawhereamanshottheboybecausehewasplayingloudmusicinagasstation.Youaregoingtohavesituationslikethatwhenchildrenarenotproperlytaughtabouttheircultureandappre-ciatewhotheyare.Whitepeoplecon-siderusasbeinginferiorbecausewedontknowanythingaboutourhistoryandtheythinkwebehaveinabizarrewaythatisdifferentfromthem.SocontinuesDr.WindsorthisparticularWhitemansaidthatsincethekidstartedplayingloudmusichethoughtthatistypicalofBlackyouthandtheyareinferiorsotheydeservetodie.Thatswhatitamountsto.TheyhavethestandyourgroundlawinFlorida.HefeltthatsincehedidntlikethelooksoftheBlackguyandwhenhesaidsomethingtothemtheBlackguysgavehimaharshlookandsohefeltthreatenedandthereforejusti-fiedinshootinghimwhichwasinhismindself-defense.OneanswersaysDr.Windsorisifweknowmoreaboutourhistoryandourcultureandwearetaughtmoreandlearntorespectourparentsandourelderswewouldnthavetobeplayingallofthisloudmusicandourmindswouldbeconcentratingoneducationandlearningmore.Ifyouwouldtakeasurveyyouwouldprob-ablyfindthatthosewhoareplayingtheloudmusicaredeficientintheirreadingskills.HereiteratesManyhighschoolsintheBlackcommunitiesacrosstheUnitedStatesarebeingclosedbecauseofpooracademiclevels.Wehavetobuildsolidhomeswithtworesponsibleparents.Whenboysareraisedinahomewithoutafathertheydontknowhowtobemen.Theydontevenlistentotheirmotherswhentheyreachacertainage.Ifwedontreachthembyagetenitisusuallytoolate.Ifthereisnotafatherinthehomethereshouldbesomeothersubstitutemalerolemodelsomeonewhocanguidethemthroughlifeteachthemhowtobemenandwhattodoandnottoweartheirpantshangingdownovertheirbehinds.Thereisnostrongmanaroundtotellthemnottodothesethingsandtodisciplineandtalktothemandguidethemandtomakesuretheyaredirectingtheirenergiesintherightdirectionsotheycangotoschoolorlearnatradeorgointobusi-nesssotheycanbeacredittothem-selvesandsocietyratherthanendingupinjailorsixfeetunderthedirt.ContinuingDr.WindsorsaysWeneedtoteachouryoungmenhowtobegoodhusbandsandgoodfathersandtoteachthegirlsthesamewaynottohavebabiesthathavetoberaisedbyoneparentwithoutbeinglovedandwantedandthenthemotherisangryatthefatherbecauseheisnotgivinganyemotionalorfinancialsupportorthefatherdidntlovethemotherinthefirstplace.Sowehavetolearntopostponesexualgratificationandpaymoreattentiontoourstudiesandhowwecandevelopourselves.IamnotsayingthateveryoneneedstogotocollegesaysDr.WindsorWhatAboutTheBlackHebrewsBecausetheEuropeansweredominantintheirconquesttheybegantotakemanyofthegreatheroesoftheancientpastandofAfricaandtheybegantomakethemWhiteandtopainttheirpicturesWhiteasapsychologicaltooltoenhancetheirowncultureandtoperpetuatetheircivilizationbyshowingthepeopleasbeingWhite.ContinuedonPage17
