My assessment is that most client’s physical fitness challenges are secondary to their mental fit- ness challenges. Everyday stress can create depres- sion, anxiety causing low energy and weight gain. It is very evident how battles in history have shaped our lives over the cen- turies. What about the men- tal battles we face on a daily basis? Are we equipped to bat- tle stress, anxiety, fear and depression? I would like to share just a few tools that will create the possibility of not only being armed for such a battle, but to become victorious. And the LORD answered me, and said, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it”. Habakkuk 2:2 I have noticed two things that drive human behavior. One is pain, and the other is pleasure. What we associate with pain can become a block or an anchor that keep us from being in action. Just as your body requires resistance training to build muscle, the brain requires exercise in order to grow and develop. Write down a list of things you want to accomplish and have not taken action. Write down actions that have prevented you from following through, now write actions you can take that will jump start you towards your goals. Now write down the pain that is associated with why you have not taken action. Now last but not least write down what it will cost you, or the pain you will feel if you do not get the results in your life, or reach your goals. Now list the things you will gain by taking the actions required. The time to design the next twenty years of your life is now, not tomorrow. Creating a small nero associations in your mind that are different then the negative ones you have created in the past is an effective way to transform your life and create and fulfill your destiny. Changing the mean- ings of things in your mind can create the power you need to achieve true transformation in in your life.
