Recall what Solomon says in Proverbs 22:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Apostle Paul expressed it with these words: "... we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who island he the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love." (Ephesians 4:15) 5.Take Responsibility for Souls Writing are extensive that the best and most effective Christians are that way because they take respon- sibility for their own souls and the souls of others. In 2 Corinthians 5:10 it says: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body whether good or bad." 6. Serve Others. This habit brings to mind what Jesus said in Matthew 20:28: "...just as the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many." Further, in Philippians 2:7, Paul stated: "...but make him- self nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness." 7. Remain Focused on the Kingdom. This sentence's title is a reminder of the, parable of the mustard seed and the yeast found in Matthew 13:23: "But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." The bottom line? Know in your heart that the kingdom is forever. It is one of the pillars of Christianity. Concluding, by having the 7 hab- its in your life, that are discussed above, you will be able to live the best Christian life that you can no matter what conditions and situa- tions may come your way. Meditate and pray that God will give you the wherewithal to be the best and most effective Christian possible according to His Will. 7 ... from page 7
