9 DECEMBER 2018 BODY OF CHRIST NEWS I have been taught not to look for the Church closet to my home, but the Church closet to the Bible. I found such a Church in Kingdom Connection Christian Center (KCCC), and I am glad to be part of this great family. My Bishop is a man of the Word, several times, I have wondered at the depth of his knowledge of God's Word. To me, nothing seems to catch him by surprise when it comes to God's Word. Bishop IsrealAde-Ajala challenged and influenced members of KCCC to become men and women of God's Word. On several occasions, I had located God's Word for specific situations of my life and God remained ever faithful to His Word. In Nurse Practitioner (NP) school, I held unto Gods Word in Philippians 1 Vs. 6 (...He who began a good work in me will bring it to an hopeful completion...) and God's Word worked for me. A Couple of months ago, I called Bishop Isreal Ade Ajala as I was preparing to set out for the NP board exam. He prayed with me and I was amazed at how about 90% of the words of his prayers were the same prayers the Holy Spirit had been helping me pray in regards to my upcoming exam. I took the exam passed at a sitting. I give Glory to God. is physically and mentally unable to make the free choice to receive or reject Christ as their Savior? Does God make that choice for them?" Acts 16:25 teaches that the accountability falls on the heads of the parents until the child reaches the age of account- ability. Another argument. What about the people all around the world who have not and may not ever hear the gospel message? That is easy! Jesus teaches in Matthew 24:15, that the gospel will be preached to all nations but not all people. If those nations do not allow the gospel to go in, the blood will be on the heads of those nations. Look at Jericho. All perished! Did God simply reject the entire population without giving them a choice? What does the Word say? "CHOOSE THIS DAY WHO YOU WILL SERVE" (Joshua 24:15). "For the leaders of this people cause them to ERROR and those who are lead by them are destroyed" ( Isa 9:16 KJV). Ezekiel 33:1-9 teaches that God instructed the watchmen to warn the people to turn from their wicked ways, and if they didn't, the Sword would come upon the land and destroy them all. If the faithful watchman warned the people, the watchman would not be held accountable for their blood. The same happened in Numbers 16. Did God not send Moses to WARN the people of devastation? The leaders made the choice to rebel and because of their choice the entire population was wiped out. I will close by saying that I know Calvinists that are God loving and God fearing. I am not convinced that they truly believe that God did not give each person the freedom to make a choice, especially as they see some- one, with tears in their eyes, receive Jesus as their Savior by their own free will. So, did God chose His elect from the begin of time, or, did He know from the beginning of time who would make the free choice to choose Him (1Pet 1: 1-2)? "Who have been cho- sen according to the foreknowledge of God." Free choice is interwoven within the fabric of every page of the Holy Bible. Christianity is not a religion where people are forced to love their God. Christianity is a free choice for ALL, WHOEVER and EVERYONE! Until next time, Jesus is coming soon! Are you going to be ready?! FORTI ... continued from page 4 A 40 Year Legacy Celebration Some 40 years ago, a group of 10 guys, all Manual High School Alumni, thought getting together with friends and having a barbeque in a park would be fun. These guys named themselves The Fellas, chipped in money to buy meat for the grill, sides, adult beverages and invited their classmates, starting what would infamously be known to some as the “Winos’ Pic Nic.” There was food, music, laughter and memories shared on the 2nd Sunday in August. Little did The Fellas know that their idea would start a legacy of community outreach that would bring together alumni from high schools throughout the Denver Metro area. The Fellas’ barbeque attracted business and community sponsorship that funded this gathering in grand style and scholarships for deserving graduates. The passage of time has reduced the number of The Fellas from 10 to 3. Realizing the importance of this legacy, Manual T-Bolts Alumni Nation has accepted the honor of responsibility in continuing the 2nd Sunday in August, in memory of The Fellas and their desire to celebrate community. We invite the community to join us in this effort by attending upcoming fundraising events, beginning with a New Year’s Eve Party on December 31st, 2018 at the Doubletree Hotel, 4040 Quebec Street. The Tan Band will move and groove us with a little Ole School and the latest Top 40 while we nibble on hors d’oeuvres, toast in 2019 with champagne and soak it all in with a bountiful breakfast at 12:30 am, all for the ticket price of $79. Enjoy a restful morning’s slumber in one of Doubletree’s many comfortable hotel rooms for the low price of $99, if reserved by November 31, 2018.
