16 BOCNEWS.com JULY 2018 Closing The Door On 'Fear!' "FEAR" IS THE GREATEST WEAPON the enemy uses to try to hold us back! Fear is not from God. Scripture tells us that fear brings torment! It’s designed to paralyze us and keep us from God’s blessings! THE GOOD NEWS IS that "God is great- er than fear!" “HIS POWER IN YOU IS GREATER THAN ANY POWER THAT COMES AGAINST YOU!” BUT IN ORDER TO WALK IN 'GOD'S POWER,' "YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE DOOR ON THE ENEMY!" See, the enemy can’t have access to your life “UNLESS you open a door and give him access!” THAT’S WHY WE HAVE TO... be careful what we watch; what we listen to, what we read what we say! Who we choose to spend time with as confidantes, who we choose to bring into our per- sonal lives! WHEN WE OPEN OURSELVES TO FEAR, we give the enemy opportunity! CONQUERING THE ENEMY STARTS BY ‘making the choice’ to close the door on fear by "receiving God’s love and 'meditating' on His promises!" Receive His truth and 'speak' His truth! LET HIM SET YOU FREE AND lead you into victory “AS YOU 'Close the Door' ON FEAR!!” OUR PRAYER TODAY: Father, I come to You in faith declaring that I am "finished with fear!" Thank You for giving me a spirit of power, love and a sound mind! FILL ME with Your peace and joy today as I worship You and move forward in victory in Jesus’ powerful name…Amen! Consecration and Coronation as Bishop It is the way to reflect the glory of God in our lives as we move forward. That is what Bishop Israel Ade Ajala has done over the years and was finally crowned as Bishop for Kingdom Connection Christian Ministries on June 23, 2018. “I feel very blessed. And I give glory to God for this opportunity to serve the Lord in this higher capac- ity. It will be more work, but I believe the Lord will give me strength,” said the newly consecrated Bishop Ajala. He was humbled by all the people who attended the ceremony and showed their support, including city and state elected offi- cials and other dignitaries. One in particular, who came was the Justice of the supreme court from the Caribbean Islands. State Sen. Rhonda Fields attended and said, “I think about all what the Bishop-elect has done for the city, his congregation and his global ministry, this is such a fitting thing to have happened. It’s great to see him awarded as a Bishop.” “It was a wonderful celebration of the many faith cultures that we have in our state,” added State Sen. Angela Williams who also attended the consecration ceremony. “I am very proud of him and to see the community here supporting him.” Bishop Israel Ade Ajala is a native of Nigeria. He attended college to receive not only his Bachelor’s degree, but went on to get a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Conflict Resolution and Theology. He married his wife, the Rev. And in 2000, they started the Hands-On World Missions, now known as the Kingdom Connections Christian Center, which rap- idly grew from eight members to hundreds - with branches in Dallas, Philadelphia and Logos Nigeria. Bishop Israel Ade Ajala has proved to be a fearless and courageous leader. His faith is unstoppable.
