13 FEBRUARY 2018 BODY OF CHRIST NEWS you joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions (in heaven). So, do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the WILL of God, you will receive what He has promised. For in just a very little while, He who is COMING will come and will not delay. But my righteous ones will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are DESTROYED, but of those who (truly) believe and are SAVED!" (Heb 10:32-38 NIV). Is the heart of our Lord really focused on big churches, insperational speak- er's and prosperity? Is the true gospel of grace being preached or just some of it? If Jesus were here today, what would He do? Would He walk into most churches, turn over the tables, pull out His whip and chase out those who are turning the church building into a bank? Could the heart of our Lord really be out in the streets with those who have made a total mess out of their lives? I heard a brother say, "God is taking that mess and turning it into a message. PRAISE THE LORD! Evangelism is taking place outside of the four walls of the organized church and the Holy Spirit is moving mightily within the concrete walls of the pris- ons.Paul wrote about this during his many times in the prisons. I stopped at a quick stop the other night on East Colfax while on my way down to the City Jail. A young black man who was getting something to eat turned and said to me, "You look familiar. Didn't you and your wife come into the prison to sing praise music and to share the Word?" I noticed that he had his yel- low reflectiive construction hat and jacket on and that he just got off work. I said, "Its great to see you out of jail and working. Praise the Lord!" (70% of most inmates who get out go right back in after committing the same, similar or worse crime for the excep- tion of those who get saved, only 20% return). Another PRAISE REPORT! An inmate came into out Bible study down at the City Jail a few weeks back with tears. He wanted prayer for his dying dad in the hospital who was given only days to live. The warrior inmates all prayed for him and his dad. A week later, the inmate was transferred out to the DRDC, State Prison, where my wife and I also minister on Sunday eve- nings. He came into our church sevice with a smile and a praise report. He said that his dad got up and walked out of the hospital! Praise the Lord! Give God the glory! Thank You Jesus! Currently, the Lord has my wife and I ministering with a faithful God fear- ing brother and a warrior in Christ named Alton. Many new faces are coming to the alter of grace every week for salvation, healing and deliverance. Unfortunately, it brings tears to my eyes to see inmates come into the Bible study with an old psper back Bible that they just pulled off of the book rack. It's been sad to see the lack of support that the prison ministries have been getting throughout the years. Preacher's get up from behind their pulpit on Sunday Morning and TALK all about the crises concering this crippled generation of young people. They TALK about drug addictions, divorce and recovery. They TALK all about the abundant life and how God has the answers if we would just GIVE and put our trust in Him. Unfortunatily, most of it is just TALK and very little action. And yes, within the past 20 years, we have ministered to several pastors kids as well within the four walls of the prisons. Pastors, its time to ditch the pride and wake up from your slumber. You need to get on your knees with the rest of us. I'm tired of hearing, "You know, we do have a food drive and a food bank." "We do have a group that goes down to the homeless shelters once a month." Friends, that's great! Praise the Lord! However, let me ask you this one simple question; IS IT ENOUGH? What did Paul and the rest of the apostles do? What would Jesus be doing? Are you afraid of getting stoned if you preach the truth? Most of us would have to be rushed to the hospitol in an ambulance if we tried to keep up with Jesus, Paul and the rest of the disciples for a day. Most of you are watering down the Word in hopes that you don't offend anyone and to keep your attendance up. Many of you are preaching healing and resto- ration while leading those who need to be healed down the broad road of corruption. Yes, many who are attend- ing church are in their own prison. Unfortunately, they are not being set free because they are hearing some other gospel on Sunday mornings that only looks good and feels good. There is a genuine times of refresh- ing and a end time revival taking place within the four walls of the prisons as believers pile into the Bible studies on their knees and with tears ready to receive the treasures of the universe. I'm not a fan of big numbers. But, because most are into big numbers, I will share this. God's church in the prison is the largest and fastest grown- ing church in the world as many are coming out from among the idolatrous road of destruction. We are not there to water down the Word just to take up an offering. The heart of our Lord Jesus Christ is right their with the bro- ken and the hurting, drawing many to the foot of the cross and to repentance. Yes, those in PRISON have commit- ted serious crime. So are many pas- tors who preach on Sunday mornings, leading many over a cliff and into the pits of HELL, preaching worldly wealth instead of heavenly riches, claiming that the grace covers it all (1Cor 15:1- 2, 2 Cor 11, Gal 1:6-10, Phil 3:13-21, 1 Tim 6:3-15, 2 Tim 4:1-8, Jude 3-4, Rev Ch's 2-3). There is no room for compromise in the prisons. There is no room for insperational and motivational preach- ing. This is the real deal. Jesus is not raising up a church loaded full of luke warm Christian pew warmers within the prisons. He is raising up an end time army of devil stomping, Bible preaching, Jesus believing, heart felt, born again believers who are READY, WAITING and WATCHING for their Lord to come. They are keeping their lamps BURNING! The true anointing of the power of the Holy Spirit is being poorer out within the prison walls as many are falling to their knees to receive the fullness of the living and True God! Praise the Lord! Thank you JESUS! "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and to recover the sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, (and) pro- claim the year of the Lords favor (when He comes- Luke 4:18). Until next time. Jesus is coming soon. Are you going to be ready!? Or left behind! Any questions. Call Michael 303-726-5585 HARVEST ... continued from page 12
