Hancock and First Lady Mary Louise Lee hosted the first Diamonds & Pearls brunch, honoring African American ladies in the community the primary goal of this event is to celebrate and recognize ladies within the Denver community by means of an elegant brunch, soft entertainment and honor by the Mayor and First Lady Mary Louise. This brunch took place at Cableland in Denver, Colorado the Mayor of Denver official residence. The invited honorees were given gifts and a photograph with the Mayor and First Lady Mary Louise Lee.
